Harriet Lily Interiors creates warm and inviting spaces through considered interior design and hand-finished bespoke upholstery, shaped around how you live. Every project begins with a conversation about your home and what's important to you and your family.
From my studio in North Yorkshire, I bring together a lifelong love of interiors with hands-on upholstery skills, designing and making pieces that feel considered, personal and built to last.

From a single room consultation to a full home design, I plan layout, colour, furniture and lighting around how you actually live.
Room consultations: a focused session on a single space, with a clear direction and shopping list you can act on yourself, or hand back to me to complete.
Full home design: end-to-end design across your whole home, from first sketch through to installation day.

Preparing a property to sell or let, styling each room so buyers and tenants can picture themselves living there, from furniture layout to the finishing touches that make the best impression from the first viewing.

About me
With a background in interior design, show homes and home styling, I love creating welcoming spaces that balance beauty, comfort and functionality.
My passion for creativity and interiors started early. I studied art and design, creating and printing my own wallpapers and fabrics. That love of colour, pattern and creativity has stayed with me ever since.
Today, I bring all of that experience and passion into helping people create homes that feel stylish, individual and full of character. I don't believe a home should simply look good, it should work for you and feel like somewhere you genuinely love to live.
I'm lucky enough to work from my home in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, which provides endless inspiration. From the changing seasons and natural colours to the character of the surrounding landscape, there's always something to spark a new idea.

A design direction, mood board and layout plan tailored to your space and budget.

Furniture, fabrics and finishes are selected and ordered, with you involved at every decision.

I style and finish the space so it's ready to walk into and enjoy from day one.
